There are four major parts that can fail with the operation your window's glass; the window switch, Mercedes window relay, window motor and window regulator. If your window still has some movement but moves slower than normal then you can rule out the switch and relay. These two parts may only be sold as a complete unit. You will have to remove your inside door panel for inspection. The window regulator is the mechanical unit that is driven by the motor. You may have a motor that is weak and starting to fail, not giving the regulator enough power to move, or you may have a window regulator that is binding, or even broken. |
