Mercedes Window Regulator Tips …

Having trouble with your Mercedes window parts? We may be able to help you narrow down the problem with your window's electrical and mechanical system. There are some major parts that can fail with the operation your window's glass, being the window switch, window relay, window motor and window regulator. Does window still have some movement but moves slower than normal? You can rule out the switch and relay. Depending on your model Mercedes these two parts may only be sold as a complete unit.

You will have to remove your inside door panel for inspection. The window regulator is the mechanical unit that is driven by the motor that moves the window glass. You may have a motor that is weak and starting to fail, not giving the regulator enough power to move, or you may have a window regulator that is binding, or even broken. No movement in your glass at all, and hearing the window motor running there may be a good chance your window regulator has failed. No movement and no sounds from your window motor, you may have an electrical problem between the motor and the window switch. Often, this can be blamed on the window switch. Your motor could have died completely or the window relay may have blown. Your Mercedes window relay is located under the dash on the majority of all Mercedes Benz. We stock all of these parts for immediate shipment.
