Are you having Mercedes window part problems? There are four major parts that can fail with the operation your window's glass; the window switch, window relay, Mercedes window motor and window regulator. If your window moves slower than normal then you can rule out the switch and relay. Depending on your model Mercedes these two parts may only be sold as a complete unit. Either way you will have to remove your inside door panel for inspection. Basically, the window regulator is the mechanical unit that is driven by the Mercedes window motor that moves the window glass. You may have a Mercedes window motor that is weak and starting to fail, not giving the regulator enough power to move, or you may have a window regulator that is binding, or even broken. No movement in your glass at all, and hearing the window motor running there may be a good chance your window regulator has failed completely. |
