| Your Mercedes water pump acts like the heart of your cooling system pumping coolant throughout the engine, the thermostat, and back into the radiator. This cycle keeps your engine's temperature down in order to prevent the over heating and melt down that would eventually happen otherwise. Whenever you are replacing your water pump it would be a good idea to change the radiator hoses and thermostat also. |

| Tech Tip: When replacing your Mercedes water pump make sure you inspect and replace all of your belts and hoses if needed. These items will have to come off anyway while performing this job. This way you wont have to do it "twice". |
