This would result in a loss of Mercedes power steering fluid. The Mercedes power steering fluid acts as a lubricant for the Mercedes power steering pump so when this fluid gets too low you may start to hear a grinding sound. Soon all steering power would be lost. Second is the Mercedes power steering hose. This hose extends from the Mercedes power steering pump to the Mercedes steering rack.
