Tech Tip: Be aware, when you are ordering a new Mercedes heater motor you may have the option to order just the motor by itself or the entire assembly. The difference here is going to be whether the heater motor is going to include the fan (squirrel cage) or not. Although the price difference may be attractive, in our experience you may not be able to successfully remove and replace your old fan on to the new motor. Try removing your old fan first before you order the new Mercedes blower motor (only). They can be very brittle and break pretty easy. This will give you the opportunity to know for sure that you can order just the motor by itself. |
